2020 Soccer Season Update

Alberta Soccer Association (ASA) has provided an update regarding soccer programming due to COVID-19.  Find ASA’s notice HERE.

Heritage Point is working closely with Edmonton Minor Soccer Association SouthWest (SWEMSA) in order to find out as much as we can regarding the plans for the current season.  The direction of the soccer will be determined by the Health Authorities and the governing bodies of soccer – Canada Soccer Association (CSA) and ASA.

At this time, CSA has suspended all soccer activities in Canada.  The season is postponed but not cancelled and the governing bodies hope to resume soccer activities when it is safe to do so.  If the soccer season is cancelled, a full refund will be provided.

We ask that our community follow the directives from the Health Authorities and CSA which includes the current ban on organized soccer activities.  However, kicking the ball around with your family following guidelines by Alberta Health is encouraged.
