Public Session on New Neighbourhood in Heritage Valley

The City of Edmonton and the Government of Alberta are developing a plan for a new neighbourhood in the Heritage Valley area. Edmontonians are invited to a drop-in engagement session to share their thoughts on the healthy community vision for this new neighbourhood.

The new neighbourhood plan will:
- include a new hospital and health campus, announced by the Government of Alberta in May 2017.
- establish a clear vision for a healthy, complete community.
- guide future development, including zoning, subdivision, roadways, and infrastructure.
- determine the alignment of the Capital Line South LRT extension and station location within the new neighbourhood.
The 320 acre site is owned by the Government of Alberta and was previously used by the University of Alberta for crop research.
